Company Overview:  A Gogo Event Rentals is a growing party and event rental company with potential opportunities for advancement in the company.  A Gogo is a customer focused, event and party rental business, servicing Weddings, Corporate Events, Conventions and other celebrations with tents, tables, chairs, linens, dance floors, and much more!  

 

Job Skills / Requirements: The Event Consultant is responsible for enhancing communication, increasing sales and customer service levels with existing and potential customers. The Event Consultant is responsible for processing that business through our accounting software and ensure we provide a thorough and accurate information to the operations team in order to set them up for success.

 

Position Reports to the Owner

  • Full Time, 1st Shift Position
  • Overtime Available during peak season

Position Tasks and Activities 

  • Professionally handle incoming requests from customers and ensure that issues are resolved both promptly and thoroughly
  • Thoroughly and efficiently gather customer information, access and fulfill customer needs, educate the customer where applicable to prevent the need for future contacts and document interactions through contact tracking
  • Prepare quotes based on customer request and manage customer quote modifications
  • Prepare layouts specific to each customers event utilizing our CAD system
  • Customer follow up for open estimates
  • Increase sales by providing customer solutions
  • Obtain proper Information from customers to finalize their reservation
  • Identify potential customers to increase sales
  • Coordinate with OUPS site preparation and identification of underground utilities
  • Invoicing of customers, obtaining deposits and receiving payments
  • Accounts receivable follow up for open invoices
  • Routing and scheduling of customer installations
  • Obtain customer event photos and reviews
  • Answering customer calls, email and mail in a timely manner
  • Linen ordering and Inventory management of all products
  • Prepare reports based on request for Sales, Accounting, OPS or Management
  • Assisting with Marketing Initiatives
  • Other special projects and initiatives

  • Computer knowledge is required utilizing Microsoft Office and Email. Training on the rental software will be provided.
  • Must be able to speak English clearly and write legibly.
  • Must maintain an acceptable attendance record.
  • Must be able to maintain a high degree of patience.
  • High School Degree
